Alchemy Guide

Click the link below to view the Alchemy Guide I made. I put it in spreadsheet form to make it easier to read. The guide has the following information:

  • Armor recipe pot/NPC locations with coordinates and prices (up to level 40)
    • Click the set names to open the corresponding wiki page.
  • Weapon monster pilfer lists and locations (up to level 50)
    • Click the weapon types to open the corresponding wiki page.
  • Shield recipe locations with coordinates and prices (up to level 50)
    • Click the word "shields" to open the corresponding wiki page.
  • Gathering locations by grade with coordinates (Fishing & Farming not included)
    • Click the gathering types to open the corresponding wiki page.
  • A quick and easy guide to instantly know what materials you need for each armor set without looking it up
  • EDIT 4/14/15: Added a quick reference guide to weapon crafting and upgrading. Also added Fishing and Farming to the gathering portion of the guide.
  • EDIT 5/14/15: Updated to include level 45-60 recipe locations for armor and shields.
Enjoy!~

Other helpful tips for the new alchemist:

  1. Flying to recipe locations makes it go much faster and easier (and you don't have to land to click a recipe pot!)
  2. There are monsters you can pilfer for the level 20 and 43 weapons, but it is more efficient to just level the specific job to 20 or 40 respectively and do the Life Quest to receive the recipe for those levels. However, if you would like to pilfer these recipes anyway, you can always look up the locations on the wiki.
  3. Farming and Fishing are used for making hp/mp potions and the like, which aren't very useful in DOMO sadly because you get them as quest rewards quite often and can buy them from NPC.
  4. It's helpful to have a second account logged in at the same time so you can collect materials while you play. Doing it at night is also a good idea.
  5. There is an NPC in town that sells the extra materials (non-gathered ones that drop from monsters) in Eversun City by the South gate. They are overpriced though, and should only be bought from there if you can't find it cheaper in a player stall (or for free from a monster).
  6. Get Thief as quick as you can and start leveling it up for pilfer. This is the only way to get weapon recipes, so you will need it.
  7. There is a chance to fail while crafting, so make sure you have enough materials just in case!
  8. Making and selling odd-leveled weapons are a great way to make money. They are cheaper to make than whole armor sets, and if you sell the one's that the NPC doesn't carry, they are sure to get bought (levels 18 and 23 are good examples of highly sought-after weapons).
  9. You can make items that are 10 levels above your currently Alchemy level - so to maximize exp gain, be sure to make the highest level items you can.
  10. You can level up Shaman to get Heatstroke (located in Nature Magic tree) which is a DoT (damage over time) skill. DoTs in DOMO can't kill a mob, but it will bring its HP down to 1. This is extremely helpful while pilfering low level mobs since the lower HP a mob has, the more likely your pilfer is to succeed. This way you can get a mob's HP down without accidentally killing it in the process.
