Faces & Hairstyles Compilation Part 2 - Male Sylph

Trying something different for these - rather than taking the screenshots of the character itself in-game (and therefore being subjected to night-time screens that need to be retaken), I decided to take the screenshots in the character creator itself. I still have to actually make the character and log in to get the avatar picture, but at least this way the rest of the screenshots will be somewhat uniform. I do plan on going back and changing the female Sylph one to match this as well.

Screenshots were taken using puush and were compiled using Photoshop CS5. The font used is called Adventure and was taken from 1001freefonts.com. I used the #3 skin tone for all of these characters.

Faces & Hairstyles Compilation Part 1 - Female Sylph

I (somewhat) recently made a thread on the DOMO forums showing off all the different hairstyles for each race & gender in the game. It then came to my attention that there are also different faces as well - so I decided to undertake the most pointless waste of time any DOMO addict has probably ever done: making over 288 characters and taking screenshots of them.

So that means:
  • 4 races
    • 2 genders
      • 6 hairstyles
        • 6 faces
4 x 2 x 6 x 6 = 288 characters! That isn't including any remakes I have to do!

So far I just have the female Sylph finished, but I am working on the rest so stay tuned for more!

DOMO Signature

I recently made a signature for the DOMO forums, realizing only afterwards that I had made it too big. I will be re-doing the signature itself at some point, but I thought I'd share the original here. I do plan on taking signature requests once the game is live - I will be posting requirements for such when the game is actually released.

Here is the first draft of my signature - the final one will be smaller, since Suba Games has a very restricting maximum image size for signatures. I had all the character info be "unavailable" because the game is technically not out yet - I thought it was clever. As soon as the game is released I would change it to include things like character name, guild name, server name, main class levels, etc. and also include the portrait of my character in the corner.
I took several area screenshots using puush to make this signature. I put it together using Photoshop CS5. I have screenshots of all of those weapon icons - they are interchangeable in the design to whatever your main jobs are. Unfortunately, shrinking this signature may require me to have to put less jobs on there as well as get rid of that nifty shadow effect of the signature.

EDIT: 02/13/2015

I have made a smaller version of the signature. This is actually the 2nd small version of this signature I have made, but after reviewing the requirements Suba has on its signature pictures, I was able to tweak it a little. Basically the only difference is the picture itself is slightly larger - allowing me to re-add the shadow effect.
If you would like a forum signature like this, please send me the following:
  • An in-game screenshot of your character's status window (or just a screenshot with it open)
  • A list of up to 6 of your main jobs (preferably in a ranking order)
  • Your server's name (if there is more than one)
  • Your guild's name (if applicable)
  • Anything you want in particular put on either the top or bottom text boxes (please be appropriate)
You can send me a message on here or on the DOMO forums (username Kirbychu). I can also take requests for the larger version if you plan to use it on another forum (since it is too large for Suba's).

DOMO News Update - 1/17/15

As of today, here is what is going on with the rebirth of DOMO (in no particular order):
  • Suba Games announced on December 10th, 2014 that the Closed Beta would start within 60 days. So less than a month away now.
  • A forum screenshot contest has concluded and the winners were announced on Facebook on January 15th, 2015. The winners are to receive a pet token and pet name tag upon the launch of the game, and all participants are to receive consolation prizes in the form of fireworks and lilliput/giant pills.
  • Forum Moderators were chosen - Pepsimancer and GraceySells.
  • DOMO was selected for Steam Greenlight - which means it will be available on Steam at launch. This will definitely get more butts in the game.
That's it for now, will be posting more news as it comes. Stay tuned.
